COVID-19 UPDATE

We are glad to announce that we are back to normal hours at the office. There have been some big changes, please read on to learn more.

Our parking lot is now our waiting room. We are asking patients to stay in their cars and we will do all of the front desk reception activities while patients are on their cell phones. Dr. Gindorf will conduct the patient's case history on the phone as well.

When patients enter the office, we take their temperature and sterilize their hands. Patients are not allowed to bring guests, unless necessary. We are scheduling patients every hour and are allowing one patient in the office at a time.

We are doing curbside service for all dispensing and pick-ups.

We still continue to use EyeCare Live for patients who cannot come into the office.

We designed our Northern Riverside office to be modern, friendly and welcoming to each and every patient. Everyone at our office cares deeply about providing an excellent customer service experience, making every patient feel heard and well cared for. Because many of our patients are young families, we’ve added a play area where children can have fun while parents pick out the right glasses or speak with contacts specialists. We are unique among optometry practices in the area because of our focus on and experience with patients who have autism and other neurological conditions. Together, we make sure every patient is treated like family.

About Dr. GINDORF

Dr. Merry Gindorf has more than 25 years of experience providing comprehensive eye care to her patients in and around North Riverside. She prides herself on the personalized care she provides and the amount of time she spends getting to know every patient. Her practice grows naturally with the aid of her patients' enthusiastic referrals to friends and family—something Dr. Gindorf says is “the highest compliment I could have.” She loves practicing optometry because of the dramatic impact it has on her patients’ lives.
